The Council has four committees including the Executive Committee, Career Pathway Partnership, Youth Council and Operations Committee.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee has responsibility for personnel and budget issues. This committee provides leadership for the Council and all of its activities.
Career Pathway Partnership
The Career Pathway Partnership is a partnership of employers, Adult Basic Education, post-secondary, CareerForce and community partners that work to develop career pathways into key industries in the region including: Construction, Health Care, Manufacturing, and Transportation. The partnership concentrates on identifying the workforce development needs of local business and creating short and long-term strategies to develop and maintain the area’s workforce. This committee works with local partners to develop a profile of our local labor market and identifies demand occupations for the region.
Youth Council
The Youth Council is made up of area youth partners and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to prepare our emerging workforce, assist youth transitioning from school to work and coordinate youth services. See more information on our Youth Council page.
Operations Committee
The Operations Committee consists of the core partners of the CareerForce. This committee deals with the day to day operations of the CareerForce locations in Fairmont, Mankato and New Ulm.
